2024 FOIL SUMMER CAMP

For Beginner and Intermediate Fencers

Dates: June 10th - 14th, 2024

Time: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Who: Beginning and intermediate fencers ages 8 - 12

Location: Halberstadt Fencers’ Club 621 South Van Ness Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94110

This camp will focus on teaching the basics of foil fencing and the tournament structure. We strive to make fencing fun! Each day will feature stretching, footwork drills, blade drills, hand-eye coordination games, and other training games. Lead instructor is Sonya Li.

 

Fees: $385 for the week. We request that students bring lunch and drinks. We will provide snacks. For other questions please contact Sonya Li directly at sonyali@gmail.com with the subject “2024 Foil Summer Camp.”

 

Other information: Fencing equipment may be borrowed from the club. Hand sanitizer and disinfecting wipes are available at the fencing club.

 

To reserve a spot please fill out the Google Form and Submit the $100 non-refundable deposit to Sonya Li by May 20th, 2024 by Venmo (@Li-Sonya via friend) or check (please make it out to Sonya Li).  Please make the full payment to Sonya by June 1st, 2024.
